Enjoying their 30 minutes of video games for the day. Taylor plays and the other two watch.
Since Chase is starting to use his hands, I have been putting him in his Bumbo underneath his mobile so he can get a little more practice.
Turkey sandwiches, pretzels and carrots for lunch. "If you eat all your lunch you can have a granola bar." It worked.
I went out and threw the football with Taylor for awhile. He likes to give me hints and tips about how to throw it correctly. I need all the help I can get. Then the neighbor kids came over and they ended up playing real football the rest of the afternoon.
We managed to grow three pumpkins this year in our garden. Two of them were late bloomers, so they have not fully ripened. Today we decided to harvest them. I told Bennett to get me a knife and he brought out my large butcher knife. I wasn't really keen on the boys using a butcher knife to cut the pumpkins.
A proud pumpkin grower.
Trying to roll our big pumpkin to the front porch. They tried lifting it and couldn't.
One of our pumpkins was some weird hybrid. It has one patch that looks like cantalope rind. Taylor calls it our "pumelope."
Taylor cutting our "pumelope."
Owen helping me make mint brownies for our night with the Westons.
I love this little man!
Making roads in our sandbox. Notice that Owen likes to take our BBQ spatula to use for digging.
We ended off the day cutting pumpkins with our friends the Westons. We decided this is the 11th year we have done this together with only 1 year that we missed.
All the boys designed their pumpkins and the adults cut them out.
