Day in the Life - - Day 2 Thursday 16th

This is what I wake up to every morning. It almost makes up for that middle of the night feeding.

Bedhead and a bagel in the morning!

The machine I love and hate. I am on this thing about 4 times a week. Every morning I wake up and immediately think to myself "I'm not getting on that treadmill this morning. I am too tired." Then I think about it for awhile and think about the last 6 or 7 lbs left of baby fat that I need to loose and I talk myself into it. Of course when I am finished I am so glad I exercised. The boys usually watch a cartoon while I walk.

Let's see I think I did about 5 or 6 loads of laundry today. I can't remember. After three loads it gets a bit fuzzy. The good news is that I managed to wash, fold and put all of them away instead of dragging out that process for a few days.

I hate to admit this, but this room has been a mess like this for several days. I kept telling myself each day I would get around to cleaning it and today I finally did. I know I should have had my boys clean it since they were the ones to mess it up, but they were outside playing nicely and it was quiet so I did it myself this time. By the time I was ready to vacuum, Owen decided he was ready to help.

Our dog loves to lay on anything that is soft. I found her today on the stairs napping in the sun with just her nose resting on this stuffed bear.

Today Bennett and Owen were playing tiger. I'm not sure of all of the rules, but they would each crouch down on opposite sides of the room and then charge each other.

I had a nice, long phone call with my friend Kari today.

Bennett and Owen also found some ladybugs in their sandbox. They spent about an hour playing with them and trying to find a home for them.

For the past several weeks, Scott and I have been painting our stair railing. Every time I walk up and down the stairs I notice places that need to be touched up, so I spent a few minutes working on that this afternoon.

Almost there! Just finishing the day with some book reading. Owen decided to play "Home Depot" again today, but opted against putting the books back on the shelf.

Bennet stayed up late and we had some nice 1 on 1 time eating ginger cookies and milk.

Taylor had school this morning, went over to his friend's house this afternoon and is now watching the BYU game with his dad at our friend's house.

We could trade boys and we wouldn't even notice. Thankyou for showing me my boys are normal either that or maybe we just both have wild children.
