The logic of a three year old

Picture One:
This is Owen right before we hopped into the van to go to the Oquirrah Mtn temple open house. He is happy right now, but while I was getting him dressed he was very distressed. He didn't like what he was wearing. "Mom I look stupid. Mom I look funny." I had to reassure him many times that he looked just fine.

Picture two:
I send Owen outside to play with clothes on. Several minutes later I look out to check on him and he has stripped down naked and is frolicking about pretending to be a caveman.

Now does this make any sense at all? He is upset that he looks stupid and funny in his church clothes, but has no problem whatsoever running around buck naked in the back yard.

That is just too funny, and too cute. You will look back and laugh at this. Also these photos make great leverage when they are in Highschool.

Sometimes I feel like I'm living the "Lord of the Flies" book around here too. I'm like, "uh guys, the windows are open! Doesn't this bother you?"

Can't wait till Sawyer is running around naked!! It already runs in my family ( have I got stories of my brothers!!!!) Don't worry, they NEVER grow out of it, at least in my family:)

Owen would fit in perfect here.

I thought of this the other day when Jane was asking how she looked. I instantly thought of Owen and said, "Great. Leave your clothes on."
