All the boys thought the hiking was great, especially Chasey since he got to ride all the way to the top. We cut him a little slack since he hasn't quite figured out the walking thing yet.
Camera comes out......goofiness begins
And on a completely different note. Bennett's hair color is a delicious caramel color. I have affectionately been calling him "caramel head" lately. He is so sweet and tolerates it very well.
Back to cave talk.
Everyone was impressed with the cave, except Chasey. He reminded us that it was his nap time and he was ready to take it. So Scott and I took turns discreetly cramming bits of granola bar into his mouth to keep him quiet during the tour. We were specifically told at the beginning of the tour not to eat in the cave, but we figured everyone would be a lot more happy if they didn't have to hear him screaming at the top of his lungs for an hour. Luckily no one kicked us out of the cave or locked us in. Just a little reminder that he is one and this is what one year olds do.
Later that evening we continued the celebration with chocolate cake everywhere.
I love you my little cub!

What a great birthday. I wish someone would carry me up. Second thought I am glad I can walk.
You are such great parents. What fun you make for your family all the time.
Your baby is 1. It is so hard to believe a year has passed. Sounds like he had a wonderful birthday.
Sounds like a blast! Looks like Chase enjoyed his cake. It's so crazy how fast that first year goes by!
Way to get the little cub scouting early! Sounds like fun.
He just keeps getting cuter and cuter!! We missed his birthday while in Moab, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHASEY BUG!
