The second the weather warms up to 65 degrees I shed my shoes and socks and exclusively wear flip flops the rest of the summer. My boys can't seem to make the transition. They will either go barefoot, or, more often than not, just choose to wear socks wherever they go. We have a whole basket full of flip flops and yet they can't seem to find some to wear.
The other day, Chase had put on his socks and couldn't find his shoes. I got after him and told him to just wear flip flops. My assumption was that he would take off the socks first. Nope. He just put the flip flops on with the socks and off to the store we went.
I don't understand.
