The boys have been asking us when we are going to go camping for months now. Probably since the last time we went back in August. In order to give them a little taste of it, we fired up our chiminea and had roasted hot dogs and s'mores for dinner. Hopefully that will hold them off for a few more months until we go "for real."

Not quite camping but close enough

So much fun!! Will's mom got him one of those fire pits for his birthday, and the kids love it. They did smores last weekend. It's so great we can buy our kids off with a stick, hotdogs, marshmellows and chocolate and of course FIRE. Such simple pleasures. They look like they are having tons of fun.
How fun. We did that when the scouts were camping in the backyard over a fire, the kids sure love it!
Looks like camping to me.
I can't imagine how your camping trips must be, but that picture says a thousand words.
What is it with boys, fire, water, dirt, rocks and sticks?
