I guess I should say "we're off". My friend and I are leaving this evening for a week long trip to Beijing, China. We are promised a week full of shopping and sightseeing. And anyone who knows me knows I love a good deal!
My two concerns. 1) Not being able to sleep on the plane. I have never once in my entire life been able to sleep sitting up - not even in church. I have also never been on a plane for 13 hours. So I am hoping I will be able to convince my body to sleep. That and I have a rather large down filled travel pillow to help me. Perhaps I should get some lavender oil to sprinkle on it.
My second concern is not having enough space in my luggage to fit all of the loot I buy. I am not blessed with the "packing gene" that enables my wonderful husband to pack huge amounts of stuff into unbelievably small spaces. I hear Beijing is a city full of knockoffs and fantastic prices! Louis Vitton, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbanna, Marc Jacobs, just to name a few - all there and all cheap. If you have never even heard of these "ultra luxury" names, don't worry. I didn't know half of them either until our pre-trip meeting. Suddenly all of these unheard of names became "must haves" - if under $20. So I am excited to see what deals I can find.

Sooooo, what did you buy???? What deals couldn't you pass up? I love a good deal. I'm addicted to ebay again. Yikes!! Tell me all your deals!! You are one lucky girl!
