I knew he would

This child likes a lot of food that my other boys won't touch.  Salad, mayonnaise, mustard and tuna fish sandwiches to name a few.   I was pretty confident that he would like an egg salad sandwich, but the trick was trying to get him to taste it.

As I was making myself one, I kept talking it up.  How good they were, how they were very similar to tuna fish sandwiches etc.  Chase was not buying it for a second.  "I hate egg salad sandwiches." he repeatedly said.  "They are gross!!!"

Finally I told him I would pay him $1.00 if he would take a decent size bite of my sandwich and give it a try.  He immediately stopped the protesting and took a bite.  And guess what?  Surprise Surprise.  He liked it!
