Today I was typing on my computer and this song came on. It is one of my running songs. There is nothing special about it, only that it has a good beat and it was one of the last songs I listened to while on a run before my surgery.
Songs bring back memories and this one is no different. Running is hard. That is why I like it. In the few moments when running isn't hard, it is exhilarating. I really like this part too.
Trying not to get too discouraged about how long my hip is taking to heal. I'm ready to lace up and go. My hip says otherwise.

Good song!
I feel your pain. I want to run again too.
Hoping you're hitting the pavement (or treadmill) soon, but that you also give yourself time to heal.
So frustrating. I'm so sorry! I hope you heal really soon. I've been meaning to tell you, I tried an exercise bike at the gym and HATED it. No fun! Do try road biking if they'll let you. It's fabulous!
The older we get we are just grateful to be able to walk. I hope you can run again.
I hope you can return to all your usual activities soon. That's hard to be stuck and so anxious to get going. Hearing this music made me remember some of the music I used to do aerobics in my home to. My kids still laugh when they hear it and say they remember seeing me running around the big house in time to the music.
