I spotted these in a gift shop last week while I was in Hawaii. "Those look disgusting," I said while my sister-in-law and I had a good laugh.
I walked by again and took a picture, still laughing.
I walked by yet again and wondered how disgusting they actually were. Someone must like them or they wouldn't make them right? I'm sure it's the same someone that would buy this. Another laughable item I saw at another gift shop.
On a whim I decided to buy a can, just for kicks. After all I am constantly telling my boys to try new things. You never know what tastes good if you don't try.
I tried them. And you know what? They are disgusting.

ha ha! My BIL lived in HI for several years and he says you can get SPAM at McDonalds and on burgers and stuff. How sad to spoil macadamia nuts with it. Who thinks of these things? Hope you had fun in HI.
Ah yes...Hawaii was where my husband learned to eat Spam while serving his mission. BUT that does look like a perfect way to spoil a wonderful macadamia numt.
This on the other hand sounds perfectly yucky. Way to try it though.
Thanks for trying them, now we don't have to do it.
Why would someone want to imitate Spam flavor.... yuck!
