1. They enjoy neatness and order.
2. They do not like to waste.
Now I am not making fun of these traits. They are highly desirable traits. You see I married one of these Kimballs and I have the perfect picture that clearly shows these 2 traits.
This is the Kimball here. And what is he doing? Well he is trying to produce order in a mess of cut up trees. About a week ago there were some trees next door to us that where cut down, hacked up and all the limbs were pushed into one great big pile. Before the hacking started Scott went over and cut down some pieces of wood for his Dad, but he couldn't stop there. For the next 4 nights he went out and cut and sorted wood to his heart's content. "There is perfectly good wood here" He says to me. My reply to him is "Scott, this isn't even our wood. You don't have to do this." Never the less he cuts and cuts and sorts and sorts until he ends up with this.
2 piles of stumps sorted according to size.
Longer limbs that have been sorted according to the type of tree that was cut down. A pile of cherry limbs and a pile of pine limbs. The unmanageable part of the tree is also sorted and somehow subdued into its own neat pile. Excuse me I have been corrected by Kimball himself. There is actually a fourth pile of apple tree limbs as well.
As Kimball has pointed out to me "It's a disease. I can't help myself." I would say that it is not a disease, it is genetic. And yes he cannot help himself.

Oh, Tiera, what a good laugh you gave me, even if it is at Scott's expense. But now my question is, how are you going to sneak all that stuff for our garage sale out of your house and down to my house without him knowing....and he will know, he will sense that important stuff is missing and he'll be disoriented and crabby!
Haha that's funny. Poor Scott, I bet he just couldn't think with that out there.
It's sounds like a scary disease to catch. I would steer clear of random piles of things. Just go with the flow i say. Technically however, most women would love a husband like Scott. I know, I married one. Some psychologists call it OCD.
All I have to say is hopefully he helps keep things in order at your house with all of that neatness. But I guess it could get a little obsessive at times...
Sweet! Have him come over to Dan's shop sometime and sort wood.... and scraps, and sawdust! What a great hobby! That is too funny though to go take care of that for 4 nights. I think it's cool though. This great spring weather has me itching to be outdoors doing all sorts of things too.
Scott can come visit my house anytime. It needs a lot of cleaning and organizing
Classic Scott!! I'm cracking up. It looks really fun to me. I'm thinking, wood=heat. We have the BEST wood stove, affectionately called "The Dragon". It loves wood and lots of it. Cherry and apple are hard woods, burns longer and hotter. I would love to stack all that wood behind our shed. It would keep us warm for 2 winters. I can just smell it. Did the boys help?
