and Survey Says...

Imagine our complete and total surprise when upon the ultrasound screen we saw our little baby holding up a rather modest and strategically positioned placard with a little brainteaser. The image was a bit fuzzy, so I have transcribed what it said below.

ok, I think I figured it out. Your having another boy? From my calculations the Y is what the baby got from Scott, and an XX makes a girl, but a Y from dad and a X from mom makes a boy. Am I right? Did I win? he he. Anyway, fun little puzzle if it did take me till 12:15 in the morning to finally figure it out. And CONGRATS on the baby. Im excited for ya. I miss you guys. This will be baby #2 that I only get to see when it's older. I hate living so far away. Thanks again for a wonderful CHristmas time.

I am so glad that I just called you! I think it would take me until July to figure it out the other way ;)

okay folks. I didn't even know you were pregnant. I've been so drugged, ill, or chasing after little ones that I haven't blogged for months. Throw me a bone Scott. It will be around 10:00 tonight before I have a chance to figure your puzzle out. (though I do love a good puzzle) Give me a ring and fill an old pal in would ya??? I have to save all the brain cells I have left for feeding, changing, chasing, and cleaning up after 5 kids (yes, ben is included in the count). come on . . . please!!

P.S. Be very glad that your children aren't 15 months apart. There are very rare momments when no one is crying. I count them. We had 3 yesterday. NO LIE!!

I agree with Amber and I've spent my "shower time" trying to figure this out. Am I right?
