Taylor is 14
Wow, he has officially been a teenager for an entire year. Time goes by so fast!
For his birthday, Taylor wanted to go on an overnight ski trip with his Dad. From the report I got, they skied a lot and ate hamburgers several times. What more could you ask for? Glad they both had a good time.
On his actual birthday he wanted French dip sandwiches, French fries and Mountain Dew for dinner. Done.
When we got to dessert I realized we didn't have any candles. We did have some Sparklers leftover from last summer though. Sparklers on a cake? Why not? We thought it was a great idea, until the Sparklers started shooting ash all over the icing. So we quickly took them off and Taylor held them while we sung Happy Birthday to him!
So grateful this kid is in our family. He is a great kid.

Happy Birthday! Looks like you had a good one! (Been there on no candles. ha ha!)
Happy Birthday to Taylor. We are so proud of him and are so thankful to him for the great example he is as the oldest brother and the oldest cousin!
Happy birthday to Taylor. Please give him a hug from Aunt Jan and Uncle John. He's such a great guy. Simple pleasures will make him a great dad and husband some day do.
I love how much his birthday was centered around food.
