Rule #1

Chickens are not allowed in the house. Ever.
Yes, the occupants of this house may act like barn animals at times. And yes, on occasion the house may look like a barn as well.
But I have to draw the line somewhere.

9 years old

I'm not sure how, but Ben Ben turned 9 a few weeks. 9 years old.



After debating for awhile about what he wanted to do for his party, he finally settled on taking a few of his friends to see Star Wars in 3D at the movie theater. Like they all haven't seen this movie a million times.



But it is not my birthday, so after cake and presents, off we went. The boys loved it and thought the movie was great.

And you know what? The movie ended the exact same way. Imagine that!

Naps....

are pretty much a thing of the past for this kiddo. However, every once in awhile he will take a quick snooze. Most of the time I try to keep him awake because if he so much as blinks his eyes for more than 20 seconds during the day he is up hours past his bedtime.

Today was different. He fell asleep in my arms. I let him and we took a nice nap together. Very nice.
